HURRAH!

Leona won the X Factor! If she hadn't won then, well, it would've been STUPID. This evening has been trash TV central.

SHOCKER

Emma Bunting didn't go through to the Strictly Come Dancing final. It's a shocker. She so should've gone through. I agreed that Cricketer Man should've won (amazing Argentinian Tango Mark and Karen...), but not Dawson through! He's improved and I like him, but it's going to be no contest next weekend now. I just think Emma deserved it more. I can't believe I'm blogging about Strictly Come Dancing.

Not Much To Say

I can't think of anything interesting or much to say at the moment cos my brain's not working. I've been in London for a week, this is my second and last week, on work experience at Good Housekeeping magazine! It's fun, and I'll have some bits I've written in the March and April 2007 issues. Hurrah!

Merry Wintermas!

Political correctness gone mad - several councils and other stupid people saying they can't use the phrase 'Christmas' because it might cause offence to people of other faiths. Well I'm sorry, it's Christmas, the whole reason there is something happening on 25 December is because of Jesus CHRIST, hence CHRISTmas. It is not Wintermas, or Winter Festival or whatever - you can't deny the 'involvement' of Christianity!

Why should the term 'Christmas' cause offence? It's just ridiculous. People have to understand and tolerate other people's beliefs, faiths, opinions all the time. It's part of living in a diverse, free-speaking society. It just really, really, really winds me up such stupidness and narrow-mindedness.
